First do not miss out on any of the events. you can download the German language Libori program here or collect a hard copy from the tourism office in Paderborn.
This year visitor numbers are expected to be high. Organisers have decided to move the closing fireworks event from the Paderquelle to the Leokonvikt on Leostrasse.
"At the new location, fireworks up to 150 meters high are possible. The entire southern part of the city becomes a grandstand and the walk through the Libori fair becomes a fireworks experience," says Paderborn's city marketing manager Jens Reinhardt.
The fireworks start on Sunday, August 4th from around 10:30 p.m.

Elevation of the Golden Shrine & Opening Ceremony
The elevation of the Golden Shrine of Saint Liborius, patron saint of Paderborn, and the opening ceremony with Mayor Michael Dreier take place on Saturday, 27th July, at 16:30 p.m. in front of the town hall.
Beer Fountain
At the beer fountain in front of the town hall, thirsty guests can buy the coveted Libori mug as a souvenir, which the “Jubelhennes” will then fill for them.
Live Music
Right next to the beer fountain, the Kulturbrunnen stage, which offers a daily program with the best entertainment.
Paderborn's most successful band, Goodbeats, will be playing here on Monday, July 29th. The Madison Band will make their fans' hearts beat faster on Thursday, August 1st with the Paderborn song. On Friday, August 2nd, Milk & Sugar will provide the finest house music on the town hall square.
The "Square of Small Arts" has also become a popular meeting point, which this year is located on Kardinal-Degenhardt-Platz in front of the municipal library at Rothoborn. Selected jugglers, artists and street performers will be there to marvel from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Live concerts will be played from 7 p.m., before DJs start playing dance music from 9 p.m. The focus of both Libori Saturdays will be the "Silent Event" headphone party.
In the Libori Lounge on Jühenplatz, guests can enjoy culinary delights, experience attractive lighting effects and listen to the sounds of lounge music. In addition, visitors can expect a variety of stands on the "Plaza Europa" offering food and drinks from several countries. Other crowd pullers are the Lenz stage on Westernstrasse, the Capitol stage and the stage in the green area on Liboriberg. Great beer gardens, which are only available at Libori, also invite you to linger.
The fair on the Liboriberg can be visited on the opening day from 2 p.m. to midnight and on the other days from 11 a.m. to midnight. The Liborimarkt on the market and cathedral square invites you to stroll on the opening day from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., on the two Sundays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on the other days from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. On August 4th there will be a Sunday shopping event in Paderborn city center from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
