Secure Paid for Bike Spaces at the Libori

Those who cycle to Libori need not worry about the safety of their bikes this year either. With the friendly support of the companies Löckenhoff & Schulte GmbH, Connext Vivendi and Hartmann Tresore, the city of Libori is once again offering guarded bicycle parking spaces.

This year, the green area on the western wall in the area in front of the Hotel Arosa (Bolton Wall) will become a bike safe.

For a fee of two euros, bicycles, especially e-bikes, can be parked here in a locked area guarded by a security service.

The bike safe is open from Monday to Thursday from 4 p.m. to 11.30 p.m. and on Friday from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. Bikes can be parked in the bike safe between 11 a.m. and 2 a.m. on the Libori weekends.

The idea of the bike safe, which has been implemented since 2017 by Paderborn's city marketing and the Paderborn city's road and bridge construction department responsible for cycling, has been a complete success in recent years.

The bike safe makes an important contribution to promoting local mobility, especially during the Libori week, when the city is already very busy with traffic.

In addition to the 140 guarded bicycle parking spaces in the Rad-Tresor, there are other mobile bicycle parking facilities for Libori on the Herz-Jesu-Kirchplatz, at Kasseler Tor (between Busdorfwall and Kasseler Mauer), in Mühlenstraße (near Auf den Dielen), on Rothoborn and on der Old synagogue.

The bike station at the main train station also offers safe parking. It is open Monday to Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays by appointment or appointment.
