Veterans Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund Update Jan 22
The Veterans Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund has awarded £8,898,456, from the Trust, to 14 major projects through the Veterans Places, Pathways and People programme.
10 grants have been awarded in the countries and regions of the UK, to develop better, more joined up lasting support for local veterans with mental health needs; 4 grants have been awarded for national strategic projects.

NAAFI Fund Update Jan 2022
The Trust is excited to announce that the NAAFI Fund has recently made another round of grants, totalling over £1Million to over 90 different projects.
Grants this year had a particular focus on reducing isolation and creating community togetherness, with much of the funding being used to improve leisure facilities or to support activities that can be enjoyed during down time.
All projects support the Armed Forces community. These grants follow the incredibly successful initial round of the NAAFI Fund last year.

The Army is Becoming a Tobacco Free Working Environment (TFWE)
By the end of 2022 the Army is becoming a Tobacco Free Working Environment (TFWE).
The first phase of the programme launched in Oct 21 and will see all 1* and above HQs become TFWE by the end of this year.
The next phase will see the main body of the Army become TFWE Jan – Mar 22. There are, of course, exemptions for married accommodation and SLA, but any family member going onto the Army estate will have to comply with this requirement.
