Bouncy Castle Party Rietberg

Mausolino's bouncy castle park is once again making a stop in the Rietberg garden show park.  You can find the park about 25 - 30 mins mins drive from Sennelager.

Lots of colorful air cushions are just waiting for children to jump and run around on them.

The bouncy castles were guests at the park for several weeks in the spring and will be making another stop in the fall.

From September 15th to October 3rd they will be inflated daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the north part of the park. 

They are approved for children up to 14 years old. Unfortunately, adults have to watch.

Ticket Prices 

While the jumping fun is free on weekdays, jumping children pay €2  entry on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. But you can let off steam there for as long as you want and leave the bouncy castle park in between and come back later

Little Troopers Free Online Weekend Workshops

New Little Troopers weekend workshops  

Little Troopers has announced new dates for its All Together online series of weekend workshops. Until Christmas, the charity will be running free online sessions for children under ten as part of its All Together deployment club to support military children from all three services.   

The workshops are designed to keep children busy with a free, fun activity, especially if they have a parent serving away. They will also be logging on with lots of other little troopers in a similar situation.   

All military children are welcome, whether they are living in the UK or overseas. The charity has ensured there is something for everyone from baking to drawing, science, dancing and more!

Minister for Defence People, Veterans and Service Families, Dr Andrew Murrison Announces New Accommodation Offer and Widening Accommodation Entitlement

From March 2024, the MOD will begin introducing a New Accommodation Offer for our Armed Forces. Some of the changes will be available immediately whilst others may only apply to you when you are assigned to a new role, when your personal circumstances change, or at the end of the three-year transition period.

The New Accommodation Offer will modernise accommodation entitlements, improve the standard of Single Living Accommodation, update the Overseas Accommodation Offer and, overall, give our people more of a say in how they live.

The development and design of the policy has been informed by research and engagement with Service personnel and families, including through a three-year pilot which led to changes to the policy and how it is implemented.

Dandelion Military Families

We have partnered with the national charity Sands to create our very first dedicated bereavement support meeting for members of the armed forces community, who have experienced pregnancy or baby loss.

We understand and recognise the unique and isolating circumstances of pregnancy and baby loss alongside military life and feel it is important to create this space for the military community.​
