Parking in Paderborn is Changing : New App & Sign System

You might be used to seeing notice boards with the number of available parking spaces in most cities. 

Paderborn is taking parking information to the next level. From now on you will find more boards arriving that show live maps with your location.

Around the main roads large maps will now show live parking availability in all of the cities spaces. 

As you get closer to actual parking you will see more detailed local area signs. 

Use the "PARCO" app find parking spaces

An app was also prepared in parallel with the development of the new parking guidance system.  "PARCO". The app provides information about the current tariffs, parking space occupancy and other important parking data (parking tariffs, opening hours, etc.). 

It can also be used to navigate to a parking space. The payment function is not activated for Paderborn. The mobile phone park systems paybyphone and easypark are available in Paderborn for cashless payment.

Incidentally, the app can be used not only in Paderborn, but also in numerous other cities in Germany.
