Free Festival this Weekend in Bad Lippspinge

Ten different live bands, a medieval and arts and crafts market and culinary delicacies.

A big children's program - on the Pentecost weekend from May 27th to 29th, the Arminiuspark in Bad Lippspringe will once again become a large concert arena.

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the park festival, visitors can look forward to a top-class, family-friendly programme. And best of all, entry is free.

It all starts on Saturday, May 27, at 3 p.m. with the official opening by Mayor Ulrich Lange. Afterwards, the band “Weekender” will provide musical entertainment with a mixture of rock, pop and alternative songs.

From 7:00 p.m., the stage in Arminiuspark will belong to the a-ha tribute band "Manhattan Skyline". The thoroughbred musicians play the most beautiful a-ha songs from the early 1980s to the present day and spoil the audience with a high-quality concert experience.

This also applies to the guys from "Century's Crime", who will rock Arminiuspark from 9.30 p.m. with the classics from Supertramp - a homage to the golden age of the British pop/rock band from 1974 to 1983.

On Pentecost Sunday, May 28th, the supporting program starts at 11 a.m. with the medieval and arts and crafts market as well as the bouncy castle and the play mobile.

Only an hour later the performance of "The Bailey-Scholle Band" begins. Heike Bailey, Peter Scholle and their fellow musicians bring soft rock and pop classics from the last few decades to the stage with a lot of love for music. After that, all Fleetwood Mac fans will get their money's worth.

From 2.45 p.m. the tribute band "The Chain" will play the biggest hits of the multinational rock band. Although they are close to the original, they are not a copy. Towards evening, visitors can look forward to an atmospheric homage to Peter Maffay under the motto "Songs for eternity".

The band "Maffaypur", which has also performed at Let's Dance, will provide entertainment from April 18. 00 o'clock with the most beautiful songs of the exceptional German musician for a great concert experience with goosebumps guaranteed.

At 9:30 p.m., at the end of this varied Park Festival day, it’s back to the 1990s: the German pop band “Bell, Book & Candle”, which celebrated international success with the song “Rescue Me”, among other things, is on the stage in Arminiuspark guest and spoils the audience with their old and new hits.

With a Protestant service, Whit Monday, May 29, starts at 10.30 a.m. in a much more contemplative manner. The supporting program then begins with the medieval and arts and crafts market, the bouncy castle and the play mobile before the “Bluesanovas” from Münster make their appearance at 1:30 p.m.

The triple German Blues Award winners toured with Eric Clapton last year and are currently the best the German blues scene has to offer. Music made in Germany continues at 4 p.m.

"Four wins" is the name of the four-piece tribute band dedicated to the music of the Fantastischen Vier. From "Die da!?!" to "Sie ist weg" and "MFG" to "Troy" - the Park Festival visitors can look forward to a great concert experience to sing and dance along to.

The grand finale at 6:15 p.m. is marked by the performance of "Billie Eil-Lish". The tribute artist, who is flown in from the UK especially for the Park Festival, performs the US singer-songwriter's hits from "Bad Guy" to "No Time to Die" and ensures the party atmosphere once again before the 20th birthday. Park Festival is gradually coming to an end.

On all days of the event, in addition to the concerts, visitors can look forward to the wine festival of the Bad Lippspring winegrowers' association, the atmospheric medieval and arts and crafts market with numerous stands, the idyllic beer garden, the Pimm's tent and numerous culinary delicacies as well as the children's program with a bouncy castle, play mobile and many more  activities for the whole family. Admission to Arminiuspark Bad Lippspringe is free every day.
