This Sunday 22nd October at 10am The ArtBase will be running a live drawing session where everyone will learn how to draw a gorgeous Emu. You just need paper, pencils and a rubber.

Little Troopers Free Online Weekend Workshops
New Little Troopers weekend workshops
Little Troopers has announced new dates for its All Together online series of weekend workshops. Until Christmas, the charity will be running free online sessions for children under ten as part of its All Together deployment club to support military children from all three services.
The workshops are designed to keep children busy with a free, fun activity, especially if they have a parent serving away. They will also be logging on with lots of other little troopers in a similar situation.
All military children are welcome, whether they are living in the UK or overseas. The charity has ensured there is something for everyone from baking to drawing, science, dancing and more!

New Awards To Support Service Children Along Their Educational Pathway
The Armed Forces Covenant Trust (the Trust) is excited to announce the first awards made under the Service Pupil Support Programme.
Over £1,700,000 has been awarded to 46 fantastic projects which will deliver real change to Armed Forces communities by improving the educational pathway of Service children and helping to address the challenges they can face.

The Armed Forces Families Fund: Early Years Programme
Support for projects which help Armed Forces families access good quality early years childcare.
The Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust (The Trust) are delighted to announce the latest round of The Armed Forces Families Fund: Early Years Programme.
Under this programme the Trust will award grants of between £5,000 and £80,000 for projects which help enhance early childhood education and childcare settings to ensure they meet the needs of young children from Armed Forces families.

Defence has updated and shared information with Family Courts to help demonstrate that Service and family life is compatible. The Army Families Federation informed Defence of anecdotal feedback from some families of potential misunderstandings about the nature of Service life when going through the Family Court system.
