What's on This Week?

This weeks highlights include:
  • Opera in Horn Bad Meinburg - Three tenors from Napoli will wow the crowds on the 17th Nov.  Singing much loved songs like "Nessun dorma" and even some Frank Sinatra. Tickets here
  • "Black week" sales are underway in most German stores so expect busy stores and parking in major shopping areas. But often a good time to use tax free forms.
  • Hamburg is hosting the Winter Dom until the 10th Dec. This massive funfair event is 1.6km long. The festival has been running for 693 years! You can find out more about the fair and events in Hamburg here.

  • Ease into winter with the special Paderborn candles available in the tourist information office

There are now high-quality Paderborn candles to match the dark season. Not only do they have an “illuminating” effect, the soothing scent of amber, jasmine and sandalwood also flatters the sense of smell.

The candles are vegan and sustainable, only soy wax and high-quality fragrance oil are used.

Toxic and harmful ingredients that are often found in conventional candles are completely avoided.

The luxurious gold print of the popular three rabbits motif on a black background underlines the value of the handcrafted Paderborn candles.

The new Paderborn candle is now available at the Tourist Information on Königsplatz in two different sizes: in a brown apothecary jar with a lid and 40 hours of burning time for 25 euros and in a practical mini tin with five hours of burning time for five euros.
