Paderborn Free Spring Music Festival 5th -7th May

 On the first weekend in May, the Paderborn advertising community will again attract thousands of people to the city center of the East Westphalian regional center. 

The spring festival is considered the sixth season in Paderborn - the Libori festival in summer is the fifth - and will take place in 2023 from May 5th to 7th. As the advertising association reports, the planning for the 38th edition is in full swing and the advertising association's chairman Uwe Seibel has now announced who will be causing the excitement on Friday and Saturday evening from the WESTFÄLISCHES VOLKSBLATT stage on the town hall square.

The so-called headliners are Phillip Dittberner and Younotus. Decorated with numerous awards, they have reached millions of people with their music in recent years.

The planning for the spring festival has long been in full swing and Uwe Seibel promises an attractive family festival for young and old: "This year we are continuing our tried-and-tested cooperation with the agency Lautstrom from Paderborn and the board of directors of the advertising association is pleased that we are at the spring festival be able to present hip stars again – and with free entry.”

Dittberner landed his first hit in 2014 with "Wolke 4". It was followed by songs like "This is your life" and "In your little world", which were also awarded gold. Last year, Philipp Dittberner reached 22 million viewers on TikTok and Instagram with his social media campaign “Songs für Fremde”, “Wolke 4” made it to #1 in the TikTok charts.

Younotus are the headliners on Saturday from 9 p.m. They are among the most relevant German dance acts of recent years. In 2015, they first drew attention to themselves with their version of "Supergirl". Hits like "Please Tell Rosie", "Only Thing We Know", "Seventeen", "Narcotic", "Your Favorite Song" or "Samba" followed, with which they received hundreds of millions of streams, top chart positions and gold - and platinum awards.
