A Level and BTEC Successes at The Duke of York’s Royal Military School

Students at the Duke of York’s Royal Military School are celebrating success at A Level, with well over half of all of grades being A* - B, BTEC with an average of Distinction*, and 85% achieving A* - C grades.



Subsequently, most students now head off to university, attending elite institutions on highly competitive courses. Several students will begin military careers, while others have chosen apprenticeships, including Daniel Ibikunle who will begin an apprenticeship in Nuclear Engineering, whilst India Allen will begin her career at BAE Systems.

Outstanding individual successes include: Dara Boyejo A*, A*, A, A going to read Medicine at Queen Mary’s; Reece Beaman A*, A*, C to read Maths at Warwick; Darian Wollgast A, A, B, C to read Astrophysics at Edinburgh; Joanna Bowtell A*, A, C to read Geography at Swansea; Daniel Onyeator Distinction*, A, B, B reading Business & IT at Queen Mary’s; Keifer Ige A, A, A, C to read English at Nottingham: Brett Smith Distinction*, Distinction, A to read Business Management at Exeter; Lia Gurung A*, A, A to reads Dentistry at Liverpool, Oshokha Akagbosu A, A, B to read Biological Science at Imperial College London; Saffron Bentley A, A, C to Politics and International Relations at Cardiff.
