Join the massive festival in Dusseldorf- Modem and traditional Japanese celebrations collide in this much loved festival. Wander the Rhine promenade and try all the food.
Get pictures with the Cos play specialists. Try out traditional Japanese archery. Live music events with bands from Japan flown in. Food stalls will keep you fed with tasty treats along the Rheinepromenade.
A massive firework show will round off the day at 11 pm. Hotel rooms are available but are selling fast. Travel from Paderborn is approx 2hrs by train though check the last train back. or the drive time is 2 hrs. check parking apps for spaces to avoid being caught out.
Linen Weaver Market Bielefeld
28th May - 1st Jun - The traditional Bielefeld celebration of their weavers has turned into a city wide event with funfair, big event in the cities calendar. Big concert arena set up on Jhanplatz 200 artists will perform.
Are 10pm on Friday for those who will be in the city. The fun fair wraps up on Sunday.
50th Anniversary of the Fairytale road.
The route is celebrating it's 50th anniversary this year. There are many sites along the route those closest to us include, Kassel, Hameln, Gottingen all under 1hr 45 by car from Sennelager. The Brothers actually lived in Kassel for 30 years and there is a dedicated museum in the city.
We had two excellent briefings delivered at the Community Hub in Brydon House last week. A great opportunity for Non UK SP to get support and assistance.

The1st Normandy Bks Gym meeting took place
The GSM updated the community on the meeting outcomes. Highlights include the opening of a Sauna area on the 1st June. A 2km Bks Trim Trail is being constructed no date yet for the launch but should be a great resource.
Aral Fuel Cards
Your fuel card will not work between 0600 - 1300 on the 25th May. This is planned maintenance.
