The fourth PaderNacht will take place on Friday, August 25th, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
At PaderNacht you can stroll through the Pader source area with the artists, or stay in one place and let the artists come to you.
Music, street art and artistry can be found at eight locations between the city library and Paderwiesen. A total of 10 artists perform every hour on the hour.
This year, the end of the Secret City facade festival will take place at the same time, so that there will also be a construction site banner exhibition with the artworks created and a live painting event on the graffiti star in the Paderwiesen. PaderNacht starts at Kardinal-Degenhardt-Platz in front of the city library, where comedy takes place on stage until 10 p.m.

Adrian "Credo" Scholz: Emotions (Comedy, Cabaret)
North German, clearly, honestly! Do you know that? You hear a song and you are immediately catapulted into another time, another place.
Compagnie Krak: Kontrol (Clownery, Physical Comedy)
Compagnie Krak stands for poetic, clownesque productions full of absurd humor and served with a portion of love. A poetic piece of street theater for all ages.
Theater group Hendrik & Co: L'escabeau (pantomime, physical comedy)
Only one big lamp illuminates the show and that's exactly the problem because the lamp goes out by the start of the show and needs to be replaced... Trying to fix it becomes a search and discovery at the same time.
The ladder gradually takes on a completely different function during the performance and, with a great deal of humor, leads the audience into another world.
Özgur Cebe: FREE! (comedy, cabaret)
If Islam does NOT belong to Germany, but East Westphalia does, where does a Rhinelander born in Bielefeld with Turkish roots belong? Three souls in one breast. A balancing act that Özgür Cebe practices every day. Verbal delicacies and cabaret with a migraine background? The "moved Muselmann" is one of those stage people who manage to captivate his audience in a humorous and thoughtful way.
Robotmann Oliver Kessler: Blubb the seahorse (large figures)
Blubb the giant seahorse shines in up to 6 colors at dusk. The seahorse is accompanied by Merlin and the mermaid.
Ron Jaluai: Bartenders d'HELLuxe (clowning, magic)
A mobile, fun & interactive act where the audience is treated to a mix of fun-tempting drinks & juices, surprising interaction, laughter for and by the audience! Pure interaction, marinated in a medley of familiar tunes, dressed in appropriate 'Metal' attire! These cozy 'mixers' from hell will touch everyone's heart and funny bone!
Stilt Dance Theater Leonhard: Mondfahrer (large figures)
A moon traveler walks along the Pader with his own moon. He lights the way himself and hovers over the spectators. The moon has risen ....
Straattheater Gusta - Kanza Mees
Street Theater Gusta brings heartwarming street theater and surprising fire shows to delight and amaze audiences, outdoors and indoors. Live musician Kanza Mees takes you on a journey into his multifaceted musical landscape. This wonderfully dreamy atmosphere is aided by flamethrowers and torches to complete the magic.
