With the tradition of 1,000 lights, the Westfalenpark invites you to the highlight of the summer for the whole family this year. On Saturday, August 26, 2023, from 15:00 the park will be transformed into a magical, sparkling place.

Colorful candles, luminous objects and fairy lights create an enchanting atmosphere. 

Acrobats, musicians and a nostalgic fair let the visitors marvel and dream on August 26, 2023. Culinary delights and a fairy tale area for children provide additional fun. The highlight: an impressive firework display with musical accompaniment.

Tickets in advance

In order not to miss the traditional event, tickets for the Festival of Lights 2023 can now be purchased: Online at westfalenpark.de and against cash payment (no card payment!) at the Ruhrallee and Florianstraße entrances.

The ticket prices

• Over 6 years €12.50
• One adult + max four children €25 
• Two adults +max four children €37.50 

Children under the age of six and annual ticket holders have free entry. The Ruhr.Topcard is not valid on this day.
