Schloss Neuhaus Winter Magic This Weekend

Paderborn Stadt has shared more information for this weekends Christmas market in Schloss Neuhaus.  Santa will be there on Sunday afternoon at 5pm to meet the kids.

“Christmas Magic in the Castle Park” sprinkles a good pinch of glitter on the second weekend of Advent. Visible from afar, the large light star on the castle not only makes children's eyes shine.

The loving decoration transforms the entire park into a truly magical setting for one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in the region."

Classic Christmas market offer

In addition to the classic Christmas market food stalls  there are also market stalls with glass, textile and woodwork, unusual jewelry and Christmas decorations. The traders mainly bring their own handcrafted goods with them.

“Since the redesign of the areas from last year was well received by visitors and exhibitors and we still have further inquiries from suppliers for interior spaces, we will expand the areas to include the fountain theater and the interiors of the castle hall,” - Christian Stork, managing director of the castle park and Lippesee GmbH.

"The Christmas magic in the castle park takes place in the following areas: the castle courtyard and on the upper floor of the castle, the transverse and central axis of the baroque garden as well as around the fountain theater and the other interior areas in the vaulted hall of the Young Artists Forum and now in the small hall of the castle hall."

Christmas trees

The Christmas trees put up to decorate the Christmas magic come from local plantations. In harmony with nature and the environment, “Martins Paderbäumchen” are harvested according to recognized sustainability criteria.

By growing integrated flower strips, the Christmas tree crops in Paderborn become valuable habitats for birds and insects. Thanks to the support of the Münstermann company and its partner KYOCERA Document Solutions Deutschland GmbH, the Christmas trees will be handed over to the Paderborn Tafel after the Christmas magic, which will then pass them on to people in need in order to brighten up their Christmas days at home as a Christmas tree.

“We are happy to be a partner in the campaign because the topic of sustainability is important to us and so the trees are used sustainably,”- Michael Eberhardt, Managing Director of Münstermann GmbH.
