Paderborn Wine Village - Schloss Neuhaus 22nd - 24th August

Wineries from all over Germany showcase their fine wines. Visitors can sample and learn about their wines, as well as philosophize and discuss the wines. 

Celebrate the sparkling, full-bodied, sparkling, precious, and delicious wines from Germany.

Schweinmarkt  Brackwede in Bielefeld 22nd -24th Aug 

The heart of the district will once again be transformed into a lively festival ground – the traditional pig market will open its doors for the 583rd time! Fun fair, food stalls a roller skating ring and more.

Jell-o Ravensberger Park Bielefeld  24th Aug 

One-day open-air children's and family  in the expansive Ravensberger Park. Artists from near and far delight audiences with acrobatics, walk-through acts, live music, and theatre performances.

Hederauen Festival - Salzkotten 29th - 31st Aug 

Visitors can look forward to a program of musical, cultural, and culinary highlights. The "Glanzstücke" women's flea market, the street food festival on the Sälzerwiese meadow, the "Hederzauber" water show, and the Fairtrade brunch at the Kunstrad.

Padernacht Paderborn 29th Aug 

Join the mini festival along the Paderquelle. 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, music, street art, and acrobatics will take place at eight locations between the City Library and Stümpelscher Mühle. A total of eleven artists will begin their shows every half and full hour. 

Koln Lichterfest Cologne 30th Aug 

The massive Cologne fireworks are on again. Join the celebrations in the city from 3pm onwards.  you can either watch the fireworks from paid for areas or mingle with the crowds along the river.  Full details here. 

Night of the Museums in Paderborn 30th Aug

Art, culture, music, dance, and theatre to experience and participate in – On Saturday, August 30, 2025, the museums and galleries in Paderborn will open their doors from 6:00 p.m. and offer a diverse program for all ages. 

Schloss Neuhaus museums will take part and host a Cheat Day Street food festival. Museums across the district are taking part not just in Paderborn.

Other highlights include dancing, secret tours and a bat spotting event. Check the website below for full details. Entry is free in most museums for the whole evening.

- Partner of a Foreign or Commonwealth national serving in HM Forces (Royal Navy, British Army, or Royal Air Force)
- Over 18 years of age
- Partners include spouses, civil partners, fianc¨¦s(e), or individuals living with serving personnel in a relationship akin to marriage/civil partnership for at least two years
