31st Jul - Dec 2024 - Wildcat feeding sessions - NABU Wildcat centre Harz mountains


The wildcat enclosure in Bad Harzburg offers visitors a unique insight into the life of the shy animals. During feeding times, all wildcats are likely to be seen.

Every Wednesday at 4pm - Games Zone at Paderborn City Library - Young people can take part in gaming events.

1st -13th Oct - Hannover Octoberfest Fair - Enjoy the large fair in Hannover fireworks will on Fri 4th & 11th Oct with a 50% family day on Wednesday.

29th Sep - 10th Nov Moviepark - Kids Halloween in Nickleodeon land. The theme park has a family friendly event set up with Paw Patrol, SpongeBob shows, lots of activities set up during the day.

The event closes at 5pm so kids can leave before the full on Halloween horror event starts at 6pm. The park is just North of Essen about 1hr 40 mins by car.

5th - 31st Oct - Heide Park - Family Halloween, the family Halloween event is underway at the park. Lots of events to enjoy including bread baking. A trick or treat rally. Meet Peppa Pig & Schorsch. Costumes are definitely encouraged for the young ones.

11th Oct - 3rd Nov - Maxipark Hamm Autumn Festival - The family favourite park is one hour from Sennelager. The park has massive themed play areas and a Butterfly house to explore.

12th - 13th & 19th - 20th Oct - "Kidsoween". Fort FunAdventurland Tickets for the special kids event at Fort Fun are on sale now. Fort Fun is famous for their Adult themed horror events at Halloween. 

The kids are not forgotten though, on four special days the park puts on family focused Halloween days. The park is just over an hour south of Sennelager.

26th Oct - AWS Halloween Party - Loseke community Centre please contact AWS for bookings cost is €5 per family. Lots of games food and fun are planned.

31st Oct Maize Maze + Halloween kids party plus torches and bonfire parade (weather permitting).

The maze is on a family farm 15 mins away in Schlangen . Tickets can be purchased on the day €3.50 party begins at 16:00) but you can arrive earlier.

18th Oct - 3rd Nov - Bremen Freimarkt Enjoy this fair and market in one of Northern Germanies largest Volksfests.





12th - 13th Oct - Herbstmarkt - Bad Sassendorf - The Autumn fair is market full of produce and handmade goods. Expect good food and excellent produce as Bad Sassendof celebrates the harvest. Bad Sassendorf is a 46 min drive from Sennelager.

19th - 20th Oct - Apple Festival - Salzkotten - Lots of activities planned for kids. Plus a street market and a juice press celebrates all things Apple- The fruit not the phones.

19th Oct - 27 Oct - Herbst Libori Paderborn - The Autumn Funfair returns to the city 400m of funfair to celebrate the 1627 returning of St Liborius  relics to Paderborn  after they were captured by an invading Duke. 

24th Oct - 27th Oct - Dortmund PDC European Darts Championship - 32 of the best players on the PDC circuit do battle for the title. Book now as tickets are selling fast.

26th - 27th Oct - Lubbecke Wurstmarkt - Enjoy Wursts from over 30 vendors. This is the sausage lovers paradise. Lots of food and a carousel for  the kids. All in Lubbecke city centre just over an hour from Sennelager.

26th Oct - 3rd Nov - Herbstsend Munster - Massive fun fair and celebrations in Munster for the autumn Volksfest. Munster is a 1hr 30min drive from Sennelager.

6th -10th Nov All Saints Fair - Soest

* Service complaints/Service Complaints Ombudsman

* Armed Forces Covenant

* Factors influencing intentions to stay/leave the Armed Forces

* Defence Estate, e.g., training facilities, opportunities for sport and much more
